National Archives and Records Administration - ARC Identifier 98574 / Local Identifier NTA-NTA-9 - Another to Conquer - National Tuberculosis Association. The film shows the danger of refusing modern medical facilities for tuberculosis by dramatizing the experiences of a Navajo Indian family. Tuberculosis is detected in Robert, an Indian boy who has gone away to school. The disease is traced to the foster father of Robert's friend, an opposer of modern medicine. Subsequent scenes explain the spread of the disease and the purposes of a pneumothorax operation. Scenes of Navajos include a community sheep dipping operation.
